Glinting Rockpool Pendant
This pendant is one of the Rockpool designs in my Ocean Collection. It is a single irregular circle of 2mm wide sterling silver wire which is been hammered and textured to evoke bubbles in the pools on the beach.
The rockpool has a piece of wire-wrapped sea glass attached; I currently have green, white, aqua and amber/brown available. The final piece has then been highly polished, which reflects the light and enhances the texturing and patterns, and is suspended from either faux suede or cotton cord. Please see my Ocean Skies Pendant if you require a longer necklace with multiple hoops.
Now that Christmas has passed, and there’s no danger of my photographs spoiling any surprises, I thought I’d share some of the items I was asked to make in December. I hope you like them!
Blue sea glass ring
Aqua sea glass rockpool pendant
Double bangle with citrine chips
(Unfortunately the bottom two photos had to be taken indoors, so the colour is a little strange – but it doesn’t stop the jewellery being beautiful!)
These sea glass rings have a 1.5mm adjustable sterling silver wire band which has been hand-shaped and finished. The glass was found on a Cornish beach and has been attached to the band by wrapping with finer sterling silver wire to combine the man-made and the ocean-finished in elegance.
I currently have sea glass available in various shades of green, pale blue, white or brown, and in different shapes and sizes.
